Organizer

I saw this cool organizer thing on a blog and had to try it. I am very happy with it. I added the wood piece and glued some hooks on to it. The binder clips hold the odds and ends that I can't quite throw away yet. A little paint and modge podge helped make it match the organizer.

Artwork

My craft/office/spare room needed something to tie in the curtain and drawers. This is what I came up with. Definitely couldn't do this freehand. Thank goodness for Cricut! Each board says something: Create, Inspire, Love.

Thought it turned out pretty good.

Colorful storage

I've spent the past couple of weekends transforming the dressers and desk into some colorful storage. There are still some tweaks I want to make, but as of right now it looks pretty good. Definitely gives a pick-me-up for the craft room/office/spare room.

Kitchen Hardware

Saving all my change came in handy when I could redeem it all for new kitchen knobs and pulls. I also had enough for bathroom knobs. But here are the kitchen ones. Scott helped me with the first one. I was anxious to see what it looked like. Then it took me a couple more days to get them all installed. Thanks to dad and his drill, it was a fun project to do.

Bedroom Additions

I've been busy with putting my bedroom together. In April, with the help of dad, Tom, and Melanie we built some nightstands. This past weekend I created a headboard out of cupboard door frames. It's stuck on the wall with tape. It looks good, and will look even better with some green painted walls.

T-shirt quilt

It only took me a few years, but it is finally finished.
